“Weald Cottage” brought up-to-date with the installation of alternative timber windows, French doors and timber entrance door
Installed by Elwyns Windows for Mr and Mrs Prendergast of Woldingham
Testimonial and Reasons for choosing Elwyns Windows: We were undertaking an extensive renovation of our cottage which included replacing all the windows and doors, and we had spent a lot of time on the decision when we found Elwyns. Our challenge was that we wanted something that would be in keeping with the traditional look of the cottage whilst also being very secure, energy efficient and easy to maintain. We had decided on timber but were very anxious about the cost.
Our builder mentioned Elwyns to us and when we visited the shop we were very impressed with the Evolution window which was very hard to differentiate from wood – and fitted much better within our budget. Because we had taken longer than expected to find the right windows and doors, we were in a hurry to get them fitted and make the house watertight for the next stage of the project.
Elwyns did their best to help us and worked out with the builder the best order for delivering the windows and doors. The fitting was on time and straightforward and they were extremely helpful in coming back to resolve any problems – even to the extent of making a new door for us.
We’re very happy with our choice and have received many compliments on the authentic windows and doors.
